No More Excuses

Posted at 10:35 pm under Uncategorized

What are you waiting for?

What do you expect to happen that will suddenly propel you to where you want to be?

Are you waiting for the stars to align? Are you waiting for magic beans to sprout? Are you waiting for some final piece of the cosmic puzzle to fall in to place?

Transformation is real. Positive change is real. You are the transformation. You are the only source of positive change in your life. And it’s not going to happen by accident. You will not just stumble into the life you want. You must take it.

What do you want to do? Whatever it is, there are other people who are doing it right now. And they are no smarter than you. They are no more deserving than you. They are simply doing something besides talking and wishing.

Are you afraid that you might try and fail?

You can come up with a million reasons why you shouldn’t or you can’t. But why not come up with one good reason to do what you want to do. Why not see the possibilities instead of the problems. Change your perspective and change your world.

The people you see who are doing the things you wish to do are no different than you are. They aren’t any smarter. They aren’t more capable.  They are just willing to do something. They are willing to step out.

What has your current set of beliefs accomplished for you up to this point in your life? If life is working for you, keep doing that. If life is not working for you, it’s time to change.

There’s no mystery. There’s no secret. And, at this point, I’m not trying to sell you a thing.

Once I finish collating my information that has come out of my 28 day transformation, I’ll have a new package to sell, and it will be worthwhile, I assure you.  But that’s coming later. This is simply my word to you this evening.

Make tomorrow different.

Quit wasting your time doing all sorts of junk that has nothing to do with you leading the kind of life that you choose.

Your time is precious. Each moment is like gold…once you spend it, it’s gone. So please make it count.

Don’t allow yourself any more excuses. Design the life you want to live and live it.

Start right now.

    Hi Buz,

Thanks for the nudge! I’ll be the first to admit that I tend to procrastinate when it comes to working on projects, but reading this post has really inspired me to take that first step and to continue taking the steps.

Buz, This is one of the most wise and empowering blogs you have ever written… and I thank you so much for sharing this with all of us!

All those small steps a person can make each day towards their dreams or goals… adds up to actually living their dream.

And how wise you are to mention the unnecessary and meaningless details some people fill their days with… and often, these are the same folks who complain about not having what they want. If they would only be honest with themselves and observe how much they waste their days and evenings attending to details…. that amount to nothing!

    Wonderful wisdom from you Buz,
    Victoria Silva

    Hi Buz,
    As always, an inspiring post!
I agree, and I love it when you feel like taking inspired action.
When you decide to wash away all fears and doubts, then you can’thelp acting…
You feel like fire inside and just cannot stand there anymore waiting for something from above. You just don’t care anymore about what can happen, because you know that in the end it will all be well. You don’t care about what others can do to stop you, because you know that actually nothing can stop you. You just thrill with delight tinking of how good it will be to get what you want…or even more!

    Sincerely, all the best.
    Ale

    Hi there Buz,

I read this post last night before I went to bed and I can’t get it off of my mind… I have been one to procrastinate, one to doubt myself. I think I get lost in the “how”s of a project and self-imposed limitations. I have this idea, but I don’t know how to help it have the greatest impact, like I want it to.

I am feeling inspired to move forward anyway.. just take some steps forward thanks to this blog of yours.

    Thank you and Be well,

    Christie

    Hi Buz,

You are right on target, my friend! I think one of the reasons folks procrastinate is because, if they take action, they might have to face failure… or success… sometimes both are harder to meet head on than just sitting there and doing nothing. That’s painless. But it’s also lifeless.

Thank you, Buz, for giving me an energy shot!!

    Blessings,

    Todd

Buz I have tried. I have read, I have joined forums, I have learned about LOA, I’ve listened to Cds and watched DVDs. I’ve taken action and tried different things in taking action.

You know what – nothing has changed. Is there some kind of Illuminati behind all of this stuff? Is it all just tales from the darkside to keeps us amused or guessing whilst the makers of the books cds a dvds make money?

Challenging questions, I know but going from desperation and overwork to Hospital kinda makes you think your on the wrong track.

    Paul.

    Darnit Buz,

Your email landed in my inbox at just the right moment AGAIN. How on earth am I going to continue being a screw up and procrastinating if you & your cohorts continue to prod me to move forward? Geesh.

    I love you.

    Happy Tuesday!

    Quite true Buzz.
When one takes responsibility for themselves and takes a good hard look at their life, then they have the answer – it is either great just as it is or something different needs to happen in order to make it better . Doing the same old won’t change anything.
As Ghandi famously said..’you must be the change you wish to see in the world”.
So, who do you need to be[come], in order to change your life?
cool stuff Buzz – keep it going!

And to Phil, it’s good to hear from you, my friend. Thanks for stopping by.

I like “Design the life you want to live and live it.”

At some time in my childhood I saw a little white house with a picket fence. I made up my mind that was what I wanted. When ever we traveled my attention would go to houses that fit that idea. About 25 years ago we bought that house and that is where I live.

    Thanks for the inspiration
    Sheila

Shelia, that is remarkable. I have been experimenting with attracting the life I want, and the results have been very interesting. I am glad to hear about your success with designing and living the life you want. If you’ve had any more experiences, I’d love to hear about them.

    Buz
