You Can Always Begin Again
Tonight, I had ice cream for supper.
Was I supposed to have ice cream for supper. Nope, I really wasn’t. My doctor recently told me that my cholesteral needs to drop a few points. But, that’s what I wanted, and sometimes, we just have to do what we want to do.
And, guess what – I can start over tomorrow.
Some of you may be saying, ‘that’s a cop-out’…but I don’t think it is. I think that starting over is one of the most powerful tools at our disposal. Because, let’s face facts: at times, we’re going to make wrong choices; we’re going to forget some of our own life rules: we’re going to screw-up.
But we can ALWAYS start over.
Are you accomplishing all you’d like to accomplish?
Have you mastered everything you intend to master?
Are you where you want to be?
Don’t beat yourself up. Just start over.
Tomorrow, I’ll have oatmeal for breakfast and fruit for a snack. I’ll have tuna for lunch and a salad for supper. I’ll drink my water and be sure and have lots of fiber. I’ll exercise. I’ll start over.
You can always begin again.

If you need a little help starting over, you can find plenty from many different sources. You might want to consider ‘Mastering Your Power of Release.’ It’s the method that allows me to pursue happiness and success daily.
Be blessed!

Thank God we can start over. And I know that we can lose confidence in ourselves when we keep telling ourselves that. But at the same time we can never never give up. Right? We must keep trying until we get it. Thank God, too, for releasing techniques that help us get there that much faster. Been there done that with the eating thing, Buz … more than once… lol.

Very nice, Buz.
I’m starting over tomorrow, too.
My best to you and yours.
Shileen,
Great comment. You’re right…we can never give up.
Thanks for stopping by!

Great post Buz…
It is important to know we can start over… and I guess the essential element of this for me is taking responsibility for the consequences of decisions we make even if it is to eat ice cream when we know it’s not in our best interest to.
All too often we give ourselves such a hard for not sticking to commitments we make… on the other hand, we need to be aware of continually not following through with things.
Warmly
Jeanne
Thanks, Jeanne!
It’s always great to hear from you.
Blessings to you,

Fantastic,
There was a study that I read a long time ago about people that enjoy their food even if they thought it wasn’t good for them and those that felt guilty. Those who enjoyed suffered no adverse effects those who felt guilty and complained about how bad they were doing had adverse effects. SO ENJOY YOUR ICE CREAM.
p.s. And then enjoy your tuna.

Yum! I love Ice Cream for supper…especially on a Sunday night. Ya maybe it’s not the most healthy for your body, but it really is a treat. Sometimes the mind needs a little bit of love too. Something about the cool smooth feeling. Yep, I think it should be considered therapeutic. Therefore nutritional value is a moot point. Good for you Buz!
Melody, I love the truth behind that study that you reference in your comment. Makes sense to me!
Buz
Karen, I agree…it IS therapeutic.
Bless you,
Buz
